Upon completion of this online training, you will gain immediate access to our suite of aptitude tests, behavioral screeners and Wave® personality questionnaires – recognized for being the best predictors of workplace performance and potential.
The Test User: Occupational Ability (TUOA) section of this course comprises a full-day tutored virtual session and approximately 4-6 hours of E-Learning, focusing on the best-practice use of aptitude tests.
This followed by the Test User: Occupational Personality (TUOP) section, which uses the same flexible format to provide you with the skills and knowledge to confidently use personality questionnaires professionally in the workplace.
Our Test User: Occupational Ability & Personality courses confer eligibility for full BPS accreditation.

This combined e-learning and virtual-tutored course gives you all the great content of our existing training courses but in a new more-digestible format.
You’ll benefit from smaller teaching groups and shorter sessions, allowing more time for reflection and one-to-one time with our experienced trainers.
- Session 1 – Introduction to testing. Choosing the right assessment and interactive activities to help you put this into practice.
- Session 2 – Using aptitude assessments – learn to give fair and accurate feedback to candidates.
- Session 3 – Behavioral assessments and the essentials of giving feedback. Chance to practice these skills with other delegates.
- Session 4 –Develop your feedback skills further in small groups and gather all the info you will need to start using assessments.
With this modular option, you will benefit from a personalized one-on-one session with the Course Director before the course begins. During this meeting, you can discuss your specific needs, goals, and expectations.
The course structure allows you to pace your learning over shorter sessions, providing ample time for reflection and by participating in smaller learning groups, you’ll receive more individual attention and have increased opportunities to clarify doubts and reinforce your understanding.
Additionally, the course emphasizes interactive sessions, where you’ll collaborate closely with fellow delegates, actively practicing and refining your delivery skills.

Interactive E-Learning
The theory behind our tools is taught via a series of E-Learning modules.
These can be undertaken at your own pace and convenience, providing an understanding of the research behind our tools and the applications of them.
Virtual Tutored Sessions
You’ll then get first-hand experience of using our assessments in our virtual tutored group-sessions.
Here you can practice delivering best-practice feedback and see real life examples of our tools in action.
Access to our Tools
Upon completion of the training, you’ll get immediate access to our suite of tools, as well as an assessment starter pack, including free reports and Wave Card Deck.
There is also a wealth of materials available to you in our Client Resource Area.

Our flexible online Test User: Occupational Ability and Personality course (BPS Level A & B Training) uses a blend of E-Learning and interactive virtual sessions to provide you with the skills and tools to improve how your organization hires, builds and leads talent.
Test User: Occupational Ability (TUOA)
Formerly known as BPS Level A Training. Upon completion of these modules, you will gain full access to our industry-leading suite of aptitude tests, including the pioneering Swift ability combination test range.
4-6 hours of E-Learning modules teach you the theory behind our aptitude assessments. These can be completed at your own pace, with a designated consultant on hand to help you every step of the way.
1-day virtual tutored session that makes use of polls, quizzes and group work to teach you how to administer aptitude tests, interpret results, use dynamic candidate reporting and deliver best-practice feedback.
During these modules you will learn to:
- Conduct job role analysis
- Administer ability test and interpret candidate results
- Build efficient and robust screening processes

Formerly known as BPS Level B Training. Upon completion of these modules, you will be qualified to use the Wave personality questionnaires; the best-in-class predictors of workplace performance and potential.
4-6 hours of E-Learning modules teach you the theory and research behind our flagship personality questionnaire Wave – recognized for possessing the highest validity and using the smartest AI on the market.
1-day virtual tutored session teaching you how to analyze candidate reports and interpret profiles to drive superior selection and development activities.
During these modules you will learn to:
